My Motivation
The message of the Gospel is the most profound and magnificent message I've ever heard. When I first heard the Gospel, I thought, "Everyone needs to hear this!" So I've devoted my life to getting it out. There is nothing in the world that compares to the joy of seeing people reconciled to God, and to see their lives change through the teaching of God's Word.
My Background
I have been a lead pastor for 35 years, including 19 years at a church in Wisconsin that began in my living room. In 2007, my wife Linda and our three children, Junior, Erica, and Brock moved to Chicagoland to serve at The Bridge.
My Spiritual Journey
I became a committed follower of Jesus at the age of seventeen, during a very dark period of my life. I was most influenced by a group of Christian high schoolers and a pastor who openly shared the Gospel with me.
One More Thing
Besides hanging with my wife, kids, and grandkids, I love to fly airplanes, scuba dive, and skydive. I've only been skydiving once, so far...but it was incredible!
