My Motivation
I consider it a great privilege to walk alongside students as they navigate what it means to be a follower of Jesus. It brings me so much joy to watch students use their middle school and high school years as a light to their friends, family, and school.
My Background
I grew up in Des Plaines and in 2017, I graduated from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I came back home to the Northwest Suburbs after college and worked as student ministry coordinator for six years at Harvest Bible Chapel. I then transitioned into the corporate world and Trader Joe's for a few years before coming on staff at The Bridge.
My Spiritual Journey
I attended Awana here as a kid, and it was one of first places where I was introduced to who God is. I always knew that God loved me, but it wasn't until high school when my best friend Maddie invited me and my sister to church where I heard a clear Gospel message at youth group. It was then when I fully realized the weight of my sin and the need for a savior. Since then, the Lord has surrounded me with so many faithful believers who have encouraged my faith who always point me back to Jesus!
One More Thing
I love baking sourdough and experimenting with new recipes and techniques.
