What is Pawnee?
For the last two years our High School students and leaders have been spending a week of our summer on an Indian reservation down in Pawnee Oklahoma.
We have created great relationships with the Pawnee Indian community and kids and we can’t wait to go back!
This year we are going back to continue to build upon the relationships we have started as well as to form some new friendships. We will attend the Pawnee’s annual Powwow, put on week of church services for the kids, organize a sports ministry program, and help with various community and outreach projects.
When are we going?
The trip will be July 5th-12th.
Why are we going?
We believe the Church is bigger than just The Bridge. We are all one family on one mission: to spread the life-changing news about Jesus to every nation, tribe, people, and language. We are going on this trip to specifically serve the Pawnee Indian Baptist Church in any way we can.
Where are we staying?
We will be partnering again with Pawnee Indian Baptist Church and Cutting Edge Ministry. Dwayne Pratt and his son Bruce are both pastors and Pawnee Indians themselves. We will be staying at their church.
How much does it cost?
The trip will be $400. This includes all the food on the trip, ministry supplies, transportation, lodging, and road trip activities.
